Lorenzo D. Gayden

Lorenzo Gayden is a Jackson (MS) based fine artist specializing in Painting and Mixed Media. His expressionistic figurative and abstract works reflect his deep passion and appreciation for his chosen subjects. He was formally trained at Mississippi State University and Jackson State University and has won various awards, juried competitions and inclusion in various solo and group exhibitions. He proudly has collectors from across the country and in Europe.

The Artist works primarily in Acrylic and Pastel, and his original pieces are also available as Fine Art Prints. His frequent use of heavy texture (impasto) gives his original works a vibrancy and energy that invites the viewer to get closer and look deeper.
